Registered Nurses are responsible for providing high quality nursing care to residents of a care home. This includes providing personal care, administering medication, and monitoring residents’ health and well-being. Registered Nurses also work with other members of the care team to provide a holistic and supportive environment for residents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medication as prescribed by the doctor
• Monitor residents’ health and well-being, and report any concerns to the doctor or head of nursing
• Complete nursing documentation accurately and timely
• Work with other members of the care team to provide a holistic and supportive environment for residents
• Participate in training and development opportunities
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
• At least 2 years of experience working in a care home or hospital setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle stress and work under pressure
• Compassionate and caring attitude
